Chris Johnson has built a career centered around serving the Greenwood, South Carolina community and beyond. With deep roots in customer service, Chris began his professional journey in the real estate industry from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, he transitioned into the financial services sector, joining Edward Jones Investments as a licensed Series 7 and 66 Investment Advisor. It was here that Chris discovered his passion for insurance while advising clients on life and other insurance products, and he became a licensed insurance producer.

In 2010, Chris left the investment industry to pursue his passion for insurance full-time. He joined a local independent insurance agency where, over the span of 11 years, he served in multiple roles, including:

In 2021, Chris founded Fika Insurance Group, headquartered in Greenwood, SC, with the goal of creating an independent Medicare, Life, and Health insurance agency that offers unbiased advice and tailored solutions. Drawing on his extensive experience, Chris has partnered with leading insurance carriers like Humana, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Aetna, and United Healthcare, among others, to provide top-tier coverage options not only to his local community but also to individuals and families nationwide.

Chris’s commitment to service extends beyond insurance products; he’s dedicated to educating and guiding his clients through complex decisions to ensure they have the right coverage for their unique needs. Chris is married to Kara Johnson, who has been in the insurance industry for 28 years and serves as his business partner. Together, they have four children and share a passion for helping their clients find peace of mind through comprehensive insurance solutions. Outside of work, Chris is a dedicated Clemson Tigers football fan and enjoys spending time with his family.

Chris graduated from Ninety Six High School in Greenwood County and studied business and finance at the University of Phoenix.
